Dr. 2 times in 2 days

Had to take Ben back to the Dr. yesterday after school. Went to pick him up a little early and the nurse came out to tell me that Ben had been down earlier in the day complaining of his ear. She said it was oozing and swollen. Wonderful! :( So he gets to the office and I see......more bumps on his face and around his eyes. I call the pediatrician from the car and take him in. This time he gets to see his normal Dr. that we LOVE and the one that treated him for SJS. She took one look and said that ALL of it is impetigo and to get the antibiotic cream that she called in and start it right away. She went ahead and took a culture of it as well just in case it's an antibiotic resistant strain. She also said that normally she would prescribe an oral antibiotic as well....but not for Ben. (Think that SJS scared her pretty bad last summer). He's out of school until it's healing. Good news is....he is looking better today! His ear is still pretty gross, but the swelling is down and his right eye is back to normal. :)

He sees his allergist again May 7th and hopefully we can get this crud resloved for good!
