You can see here that his left side is swollen.

Taken this morning....doing MUCH better.

Cookie Making and Scarlet Fever

We had a cookie decorating playdate on Friday at my friend Amy's house. We had such a great time! So many moms turned out and the weather was gorgeous! We baked some cookies, ate some lunch, let the kids play and then the kiddos decorated like crazy. Everyone had a really good time! We ended up staying at Amy's until almost 4pm just talking and having fun. When it was time to leave I noticed Will had a nasty looking rash. Ran him to his pediatrician and made them see him. They did a strep test and it was positive. Strep with a rash is scarlet fever. So he's on an antibiotic and you all know how I feel about those after Ben's SJS this summer. Yikes! But today he is looking much better and seems to be on the mend. Thank goodness! Funny thing was he never ran any fever and had no symptoms other than that red itchy rash. Crazy I tell you! Anyhow...here are some pics I snapped.

All the icing colors...what yummy fun!

Will hard at work...can kinda see the rash here.

Staying in touch

A friend turned me onto the idea of blogging, and I thought I'd give it a go. With my Dad in Georgia and my sister in Seattle this will be a great way to let them see what goes on in our world. So here is to hoping that I can keep up with it.
