Ivory 2-IN-1 Hair and Body Wash - review

This review is about the new Ivory 2-IN-1 Hair and Body Wash. I was so excited that Ivory is offering something like this because we are loyal Ivory users.  In fact, it is the only soap that my sons can use.  They both have sensitive skin and frequent eczema flare ups and Ivory really helps lessen those flares.  The product arrived and already I was psyched because the bottle is HUGE!  It's a ton of product!  I love a good bargain and this really would give you a bang for your buck.

I added it to the shower right away and vowed to use it that night.  The smell is amazing.  A really clean smell. And the texture is silky smooth without feeling greasy or oily.  I added a good amount to my hand and went to town on my hair.  Lather was great.  Just enough, not too much, but I do love a good lather.  It rinsed away clean as well.  I did go ahead and follow up with my normal conditioner (though the 2-IN-1 has conditioners in it) because my hair is thick and coarse as well as color treated and I just HAVE to use a conditioner or I cannot get a comb through it. ;)  I will say that my hair was super clean feeling, great smelling and soft.  I then used it as a soap, as well as a shaving soap for my legs and such.  Again, great lather...feels great on the skin and left me clean and smooth.  No oily residue and my skin did not have a tight feeling afterwards.  I cannot say enough about the scent!  I really do love, love, love the smell of this product.  I have now regularly used this as my soap, replacing my other gel, but I have gone back to my normal shampoo and conditioner.  I feel that this product would be great for my boys, however, because I have a hard enough time just getting them to wash their hair, so a 2-IN-1 product would be great for them.  They are all about simple, fast showers...but Mom still wants clean and great smelling boys!

So that is the review.  A great addition to the Ivory line.  Perfect for kids and men, but women with super thick color treated hair *might* need to follow with a separate conditioner.
