Barbie Mom in a GI Joe World

Well as is tradition at our house....we decorated the house for Christmas on the day after Thanksgiving. This is something that the whole family looks forward to and enjoys. We were even more excited this year though, because it will be our first Christmas in the new house! I finally have a staicase with spindles that I can decorate. Oh how I have longed for that ever since I was a little girl. So we looked through all the old decorations and decided what we needed new. We went to Garden Ridge and bought some garland for the stairs and a huge Santa to put up in the niche in the stairwell. Other than that....we had many great decorations already. We did buy new stockings as well though. So now we are all set! The house has a warm, inviting, holiday feel and I love seeing the boys faces light up whenever we plug the trees in. Christmas is truly all about the kids.
