Barbie Mom in a GI Joe World: A week of tricks and treats!

We had a fun filled Halloween week! William had his costume parade and party at school on Tuesday. It's realy cute! The kids all dress up and then parade up and down the worship area and get treats from the pastor and others. Then they head back to class and have a party later in the day.

On Halloween day we headed over to my friend Shanz's house for a Halloween play date. She is the best hostess....always! She had 2 bounce houses up and served lunch for all. When we left she had goody bags for the kiddos and even a treat for us moms. She is a special lady. :)

After dinner we headed out to trick or treat in our neighborhood. Since we just moved here in May, we weren't sure what to expect. We were shocked by how "all out" our neighborhood goes! There were hundreds of kids...no joke! Many of the houses were decorated fully and a few even had "haunted houses" set up in their garages. There was a man driving around the neighborhood in a hurse wearing a werewolf coustume...priceless. One house even does a haunted hayride...for free! While you wait in line they have movies playing on an outside projector for the kids to watch. Very, very cool! We cannot wait to see what they all do for Christmas.
