A fun 4th of July!

We had a pretty fun filled 4th! We started the day with swimming at the community pool. I love to go in the mornings when it's fresh and clean and not too crowded. It was a hot morning though! Summer in TX is offically in full swing for sure. Came home from the pool, showered up everyone and had some lunch. Spent the rest of the afternoon just relaxing until time to head out for my friend Patty's house. Patty and Jesse invited us over for a 4th cookout. We had a BLAST! William just loves her older son, Jonathan....and Ben is popular with all the smaller kids. The food was wonderful! They had bought all of these poppers for the kids to use and they had a great time with those. I wasn't sure if William would like it or not...but he was a poppin' fool! They also played with water guns, water balloons and jumped on the trampoline. We adults go to just sit around and shoot the breeze while enjoying the gorgeous Texas evening. Around 10pm we all got to see fireworks from about 3 of the local shows. That was pretty neat! We got home about 12:30am and were exhausted! But wow...what a fun day we all had.
